Summary

I have 20+ years in the welding and fabrication industry. I have worked on projects for manufacturing and recycling companies, distilleries, and infrastructure for many municipalities and Armed Forces facilities. Security clearance eligible. I currently am self employed as a contractor in the industrial sector. I started investing in real estate in 2013 and by 2020, ended up acquiring and self managing over 40 rental units, a golf course, and some other recreational venues and a small construction company. In 2017, I began to learn computer programming with Code Louisville, starting with the Treehouse HTML and CSS and Java Script courses. I have since attended Code Louisville’s Java Script/ React and Python Courses. I am currently in the Code:YOU program. I have also taken other advanced React courses and have some experience with SQL, Node JS, Mongo DB, Apollo Client, Keystone JS and Graph QL.

Owner - Laketown Properties, LLC - a Property Management Company

2013 - 2023

What started as a holding company for a few rental properties turned into an S-Corp with 3 business entities, 4 full-time employees and 52 seasonal employees. I oversaw the executive level operations of raising capital, setting budgets, overseeing capital improvements, project management, IT, and anything else necessary.

Owner/Operator - Laketown Industrial

2017 - Present

I manage all the day-to-day operations including billing, legal and accounting, project manangement, budgeting, manintenance and repairs of equipment. As Operator, I deal with all of the technical aspects of welding, fabrication, working with engineers, machine operators and other service techs. This role demands extensive knowlege of mechanical, structural, pnumatic and electrical systems.

Property Management Website

My first project was a website for landlords to manage rental properties. There would be links for tenants to fill out rental applications, create manintenance requests and get general information about available properties. The key feature of website is creating the paralax effect with CSS.
